Terms of Service
Effective 29 June 2026. Last updated 29 June 2026.
These terms govern your use of LNAT Tutor. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy.
The service
LNAT Tutor helps you practise LNAT Section A style reasoning. An AI tutor coaches how you think and gives structured feedback, and a human tutor can review your reasoning and set your next task. The questions are original, LNAT style practice material. They are not real past papers.
Not affiliated with the LNAT or any university
LNAT Tutor is an independent practice service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the LNAT (the National Admissions Test for Law), the universities that use the LNAT, or the University of Oxford. Tutors are described by their own university affiliation only.
Practising with us does not guarantee any particular LNAT score, university place, or outcome. We make no promises about results.
Your account
You must be 18 or over to create an account. Give accurate details, keep your password secure, and do not share your account. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think it has been accessed without your permission.
Acceptable use
When using the service, you agree not to:
- try to extract answer keys or make the AI tutor reveal answers it is told not to give,
- attempt to break, overload, scrape, or reverse engineer the service,
- upload unlawful, abusive, or harmful content,
- use the service to harass anyone, including the human tutors,
- resell or redistribute our questions or content without permission.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
AI has limits
The AI tutor can be wrong, including being confidently wrong about a specific fact, date, or quotation. It is a study aid, not authoritative advice. The human review step exists because of this. Do not rely on the AI as your only source of truth, and always sense check important claims.
Your content and our content
The questions, feedback structure, designs, and software are owned by the LNAT Tutor team or our licensors. You keep ownership of the reasoning and messages you write. By submitting them, you give us permission to store and process them to run the service, generate feedback, and let your assigned human tutor review them, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Free and paid features
Some features, such as the diagnostic, may be offered free. We may introduce paid features, such as paid tutor calls, in future. If we do, the price and terms will be made clear before you pay.
Availability
We aim to keep the service running well but we do not guarantee it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error free. We may change, suspend, or withdraw features as the product develops.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from your reliance on AI generated feedback or on any examination outcome. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Ending your use
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we need to for legal or security reasons.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. We will update the date at the top, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.
